Well it’s November 1, 2018! Where does the time go? I apologize for not getting a letter out in October.

First just a reminder our November meetings will be held Monday,November 5th and November 19th both will start at 6:00pm

We have a lot going on this month. First, we have our district meeting at the Cheboygan Moose this Sunday, November 4th at 2:00pm. Come out and support our moose. Its always a great time to hear what is going on throughout our district.

November 10th is the Purse Auction from 3:00-5:00pm. If you have gently used purse(s) you would like to donate or donate items to go in the purse(s), please bring them to the moose no later than November 7th. We are looking for items to put in the purses such as gift certificates, nail polish, lipsticks, etc.

On November 17th we have our Harvest party. We will be selling baked goods. For example, cakes, cookies, pies, etc. If you would like to bake something for this event, please let us know.

November 4-10 is also Member Retention month. What this means is we need to get our members back who have lapsed in their membership and bring new members in. As a proud member of your Chapter, share stories of the fun things that we do here at the moose. Feel free to bring them in and show them around, introduce them to other members. Let them know what the woman of the moose are all about. For example, our Purse Auction coming up, that would be a great time to bring a guest and let them see what we do and how much fun we have.

Again, we are always looking for yummy desserts for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

And finally, thank you to all of you who have helped with desserts, volunteering your time to help our Chapter in any way possible.
