Deadpool (real name Wade Winston Wilson) is an anti-hero character who appeared in the comic book published by Marvel Comics. Composed by artist / writer Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, the character first appeared in The New Mutants # 98 (February 1991). Originally, Deadpool was described as a villain when first appearing in The New Mutants and X-Force, but was later developed into a heroic counterpart. Deadpool is a mercenary with a disfigured body, unstable mentalities with supernormal abilities such as healing ability and superior physical strength. He is known for his constant "mouth", and the ability to break the fourth wall, used by the author to increase humor for the character.
