This character was re-introduced as a heroic hero, noble in 2006, and appeared in the comic book titled "Annihilation: Conquest". Groot continues to star in the spin-off series, Guardians of the Galaxy, joining a group of the same name. Groot has been introduced in a lot of Marvel related products, including animated series, cartoons and toys. Vin Diesel voiced Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie in 2014, and Krystian Godlewski plays the character with a demonstration effect. Since its release in the film, Groot has become a pop culture icon, with the phrase "I am Groot" becoming a social networking meme.
